BIOGRAPHY
Alexis
was born on the 2th of December,
as the jungest of four children.
She released her first single as a young teenager, called
"Do You Really Want Me" which was produced by Dieter Bohlen's
co-producer Luis Rodriguez (Modern Talking)
With this single she went on her first successful promotion tour.
After secondary school Alexis studied singing, dancing and acting
at the renowned German
"Stage School of Music Dance and Drama" Simultaneously with her
graduation Alexis performed a rendition of
Whitney Houston's "One Moment In Time" on the German
"Rudi Carrell Show" ( which had 24 million viewers that night)
The show was similar to concepts such as "Star Search" or "Pop Idol"
Alexis achieved the first place in the contest and also became
"winner of the year" which brought her a lot of media attention.
Eventually she received offers for record deals from basically every
major
German record labels. Alexis chose an exlusive deal with Sony Music and
began
working on her first solo album.
Her first album, simply entitled "Alexis" was released.
It was produced by Harold Faltermeyer (Movie "Beverly Hills Cop", Donna
Summer)
and Gunter Mende & Candy DeRouge (Jennifer Rush, Bonnie Bianco)
and also the songwriters Klarmann/Weber (LaToya Jackson, Chaka Khan)
Two years later Alexis released her first single in
the German language called "Du hast so viel in Dir"
which was also the theme of a TV commercial for
Granini fruit juice.
In the same year she won the annual MMS Music Festival
with this song in Portoroz, Slovenia.
Peter Maffay, one of Germany's top selling rock artists,
hired Alexis for his legendary rock musical "Tabaluga and Lilli"
and offered her the part of the female lead role "Lilli"
Their duet single "Ich fühl wie Du" entered the German Top 100
and the album remained in the Top 10 for three consecutive months.
Eventually the musical "Tabaluga and Lilli" went on tour and they did
almost 100 shows in the biggest concert halls of Germany, in e.g.
Munich, Berlin, Frankfurt, Dortmund.
At the end of the year the musical was broadcast on German television.
At the same time Alexis recorded two songs for the new "Willi Bogner
film"
"White Magic" and thus worked with Harold Faltermayer again.
She released a new single, entitled "Empire Of The Champ"
(co-written by Alexis herself) which was her most successful solo hit
so far.
Alexis wrote this song for a legendary boxing match.
Later, Vitali Klitschko used the song as his walk-in music for his
fights.
Because of the variety of her talents, Alexis has often made guest
appearances on other artist's music projects, such as singing on the
cover version of Yes' "Owner of a lonely heart" for a new dance project
called 2 Ruff. The Song entered the German Top 100 and peaked at #65.
Together with panpipe player Edward Simoni
Alexis released the album "Eine ferne Melodie"
a perfect symbiosis of singing and panpipe artistry.
Together, they performed in over 15 well known German TV-Shows
and their single reached Top 6 of the German airplay Charts.
They performed their song "Panträume" on the famous German
"ZDF-Hitparade" and managed to reach the Top 3 there.
With her many-sided gala program Alexis does many live performances
every year. By now she has performed in almost every country
worldwide, including Canada, Dubai, Turkey, Kenia, Spain, Italy or
Greece.
